Holding ground you thought you had a right to? Are you kidding me! Who has a right to prevent the march of time, the on-going, growing, inevitable acceptance of the fact of hereditary homosexuality and the undeniable right of gay people to have the same civil, federal and societal rights as everyone else? Certainly, not the religiously intolerant, holier-than-thou American Taliban who can't accept that their damn agenda isn't the majority or moral. Yes, Independents like me would certainly give more $ and support more of the GOP if the party and its extremist elements learned to COMPLETELY separate church and state. Until then, the GOP will always be the minority party in this great, free, live-and-let-live country of ours.
