The same argument could be used to admit people to American citizenship who do not believe in American values and will not pledge allegiance to the United States. Members of clubs should have allegiance to the principles of the club; if the club is religious, members should profess those religious value. The solution would be to require members to pledge allegiance to the values of the club and to be subject to being expelled as traitors when they are found to oppose those values.
