John, Your generalizations go way too far. I'm one of those you include in your entitlement generation, born in 1945. I was raised by one of the GREATEST GENERATION, and proudly share the values of those men and women. I've been an individual with no need or use of any entitlement program, affirmative action or drug addictions. My values are those of my parents and the discipline they required of me made me what I am. While many of MY generation were rebellious regarding their parents values, as so often happens with young adults, we were fortunate enough to have loving parents with scruples, morals and discipline. To this day, I regard my father as one of the smartest most decent men I have known in my 67 years of life. (cont)
