First: We don't need more population to increase payroll tax input to S.S. and Medicare. What is needed are lots more jobs with good wages to tax. I know taxes are objectionable, but I'm just talking about the current funding mechanism. Good jobs will increase the size of the work force by making work worthwhile for those who have dropped out, and more wages = more tax revenue. Second: we need genuine reform that removes all bureaucrats, both government and insurance, from patient -doctor decisions.
