This article is a massive failure on so many levels. "Leftism" is not a religion, or an ideology. As it relates to this discussion, "leftism" is merely the acceptance of reality and fact. It requires an ideology to suspend reality in favor of mythology. It does NOT require an ideology to simply reject the idea that suspending reality for selfish and/or irrational reasons is a good thing to do. You speak of the United States "resistance" to "leftism" as if it were a laudable characteristic. It isn't. That resistance is oppressing the USA's younger generations to the point where Americans are absolutely and unequivocally becoming inferior to our European and Asian peers in mathematics and science.
