I don't think anyone is EXCITED about going to war. We may be merely watching the current one on TV, but we had our turn in the trenches in Vietnam -- and we were NOT regarded as heroes! We may still have time for diplomacy to work in Iran, but military force is the ultimate instrument of foreign policy, and we should not hesitate to use if if we have to. What is the point of having a strong military if you're afraid to use it?
