Obama is not an affirmative action president. No authority gave him extra points, extra dollars, or extra votes for being black. That's what "affirmative action" has come to be: racial preferences, raw discrimination, by those in power, with the purpose of tilting the playing field.
Obama had allies and friends, and they worked for his election. But that's normal in politics. It's part of the playing field. He just won, fair and square. Complaining about affirmative action is difficult enough as it is. The assumption is always that the complainer means to reinstate Jim Crow or some such nonsense. But complaining about things that just flat aren't "affirmative action" by calling them AA is lame.
