Thomas should ask our soldiers what they think our foreign policy should be. They are our boots on the ground and know better than the rest of us what our foreign policy is yielding.
But they've already told us by their campaign contributions, which were overwhelmingly to Ron Paul when he was in the race (their cash to Paul totaled more than all the other candidates combined including to Obama).
Our soldiers see that what we're doing is making us less safe, and also wasting our soldier's lives and our treasure. We're creating more terrorists who want to attack the US.
The right foreign policy is what George Washington suggested: trade with all, ally with none. The same as Ron Paul's foreign policy.
