If a woman does not try to fertilize the egg she produces each month doesn't she abort a potential human life? Or is the male sperm the dominate factor in determining human life over nine months of pregnancy, more or less, the pain of delivery with the risk of death (my grandmother died delivering my mother), and the time, effort, and sacrifice of the mother to raise the child? If roles were reversed and the woman's contribution to human life was equivalent to the male sperm and the male contribution was what the woman now contributes, would the male accept not having choice to abort the potential human life? I doubt it.
