My parents a mixed pair, a Yankee Union Railroad family and a Southern Democrat, both stopped voting for the Demonrats because of the scum-bag LBJ, followed by the wimp Humphrey, and the cry-baby McGovern. We did vote Demonrat for awhile in State and Local elections, but quit that in the mid-80's. The Demonrat Party is just the CPUSA in a different "suit".
