Reagan did it with a smile, (twice), I might add. The first time was in the only Reagan-Carter debate of 1980: "There you go again!" The second time was the second Reagan-Mondale debate. After the media had declared Reagan dead after the first debate: "I will not use, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience against him." That was the second Reagan-Mondale debate. Mondale was laughing on the outside but he was crying on the inside. George H.W. Bush looked at is watch and lost. Al Gore sighed and invaded George W. Bush's space and lost. Sometimes, the body language says more than the spoken language.
