As a former high school basketball coach, as in most things in life, 99% of the time when losing it was by a better team, better prepared team or we played crappy. There were no excuses...we practiced more and harder and better--especially fundamentals. Making excuses is a sign of weakness in character, discipline and effort. That's it...period ! It doesn't matter if those excuses come right after the game or the next day, they are all worthless !! Because finally, what you do, how you play the next time is telling. What excuses are in store for the next game....what if you lose again...keep making excuses?? Plan of a real loser. I love playing against them.
