There are some pretty serious consequences for twisting the Scripture the way you have.
It's not "care" that keeps 47% of the population dependent on the government for their daily bread. In the same way, it's not good parenting to hand over the credit card to an irresponsible child and let them not worry about the tab. People need personal responsibility, and a nanny-state government removes that incentive.
The government knows not to feed the bears. It needs to come to the same conclusion with feeding the people.
