Why must we borrow money that our children and grandchildren will be obligated to pay back to fund your favorite channel? Seriously. It may be a very nice bunch of programs with a great message, but is PBS so important we have to go into debt to pay for it? 40 cents out of every dollar paid for its programming is borrowed money. IF your family was in dire financial straits, would you think it reasonable to borrow money on your home or car to pay for your cable bill every month? Or would you have the cable turned off? Its called prioritizing. Everybody has to do it when money is tight. Sooner or later, even Democrats will realize this country has to do it.
