Think also about the masses of government employees that get paid to simply direct people to programs. Job security? Ya think!? The space that is rented in order for them to perform this "vital" task, the bloated pensions, the overhead...makes my head spin. I remember a few years back calling my states corporations department for a certifiate of good standing (but because of "cuts" I was told it would take weeks to get it in the mail even though it would cost ME a ridiculous amount to have it processed) so I went to the nearest office as I was told by the rep in Sacramento, to discover that the entire floor in LA was staffed but void of customers, because they stopped doing actual paperwork from that location for over a year. WTF?
