As someone who spent 9 years in the USAF and USAFR... it always makes me wonder why it is OK for our pilots and air crews to fly into harms way... but it is always a point made that we will not put american boots on the ground.
How does that make any sense? We have troops in a combat situation... the fact that their boots are not tocuhing soil does not eleiminate the fact that someone from our military is in harms way.
This is a very dangerous mind set to constantly put out in the publics mind. Flying over a conflict and dropping a bomb, firing a missle or pulling the trigger on the cannons is being an active participant in that conflict no matter where your boots are.
This guy is dangerous and needs to be let go as soon as possible.
