My son's school has just over 1000 kids. There are 144 kids on his football team. There are 30 cheerleaders from Freshman Cheerleaders to Varsity, there are 45 boys basketball players and 45 girls basketplayers, we also have wresting (boys), cross country, soccer, track, golf, volleyball (girls), swim team, tennis, baseball, softball, etc. Because of time requirements and athletic specialization there is little cross over between teams. So, what rock are living under that there are only 30 kids who are athletes at a school with 1000 students? Further, nationally only 1/3 of kids are fat little piggies. So that means 333 fatties and 666 healthy kids.
