I work as a food technician in a school everything is baked in the ovens. the menu that has been implemented the schools, well the kids are just throwing it away. We had well balanced meals for our kids, further more they don't have enough time to eat spinach and broccoli that is given on their plates. So some kids may be just eating the little portion meats being given and the rest is thrown away! I spoke to several teachers, and all you hear in class are kids passing gas! we prepare twice as much food, costing $2.50 a plate, so parents are just throwing their money in the garbage cans. our kids looked forward to their brownies, ice cream, cake, puddings, imagine this no grits, cornbread. there are so many other options cut out.
