Actually today it is one few activities that one can do that provides both nourishment while giving a person a deep sense of appreciation for the gifts God has bestowed on us. Hunters tend to be more in tune with nature than others around them. They taste both the bitter and the sweet. They eat great tasting, fresh meat, but they also witness death directly in the process. Food is not just a faceless endless supply of pre-packaged products on a shelf, it comes at a cost and with effort and discipline.
