I am an unhappy owner of an iPhone 5. I liked the iPhone 4 a lot--better than competing Google and Microsoft mobile environments which I also use on other devices. So I preordered the iPhone 5 before the iOS 6 upgrade booted Google Maps and YouTube off my devices, replacing them with an integrated cyberspy called Facebook. I use FB but do not want it to have access to my contacts and photos. When I unbricked my phone for the first time I found my contacts list contaminated with hundreds of FB friend cards, most with nothing more than an email address or FB chat link. I can only assume FB got a free look at the extensive personal and business contact data in my real contacts list. Oh, I got more...
