All this talk about the poor teachers. The only thing poor about them, is the result of their work, if they happen to show up. Most are not smarter then a 5th grader. How abut the tax payers go on strike? Not a dime to education until the teachers get back to a nominal 2,000 hour work year, 40 hour work week, 50 weeks a year, then they provide a 90% graduation rate and are responsible for their own retirement like everyone that pays their wages. If they want to donate their own money to some corrupt union boss, that’s their choice, but I don’t want to pay for it.
