I used the term "useful idiots" this week but I used it differently. It was a blog to a paper in a Muslim country. I suggested that they read up on the concept enunciated by Karl Marx because useful idiots helped bring about the Russian Revolution and then were killed having proven how eminently manipulated they could be. I said that cynical ambitious people can play with a crowd by releasing info at a specific time and have agitators around to suggest exactly where and when a demonstration should take place. I said I thought that it was suspicious that the film trailer that had been around for quite some time conveniently got translated and posted on the interest just in time for 9/11. My comment was not posted by the moderator.
