Katie, I'm not sure Holder really didn't know about the operation. To believe that, we'd have to believe that the AG doesn't get regular briefings about big operations going on, especially a rather controversial operation like Fast & Furious. Also, does this mean that all the F&F documents will now be turned over to congress in answer to the subpoena? If not, it begs the same question that the Democrats have been asking about Romey's tax returns: If there's nothing wrong, then what are you trying to hide?
I wouldn't be surprised if Weinstein wasn't just taking the blame for this, in exhange for a quid pro quo. He's only a year and a half from retirement...let's see if he ends up getting a tax-free "medical disability" retirement.
