Speaking as an Objectivist, I genuinely appreciate the effort, Katie. But, I almost didn't even click this article, knowing what you would probably say. Rand herself did acknowledge that if any religion were compatible with her philosophy, it would be Christianity. She went on to say, however, that it is not. Christianity, like all religions, relies on faith. Faith means belief without basis; you don't believe because it makes sense, or because there is evidence, you must believe without basis. This is what Issac Newton was talking about when he said "I frame no Hypotheses". Objectivism has as its foundations human sense experience as the basis of all knowledge, which it is, and thus disallows any room for faith.
