When I first started school, the Public School people told my mother that I was dumb and would never amount to anything, My good mother would not accept that, and fought to get me into St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic School. In the first semester of St. Rose of Lima under the caring teaching of Religious Women (Nuns) I was on the Honor Roll and stayed there into College and beyond.
God bless, those Nuns, sometimes they even got harsh with me for not reaching higher educational goals, I even got my wrist slapped once with a ruler because I was hiding a comic book in my Text Book.
Viva Cristo Rey!
God bless, yours in Their Hearts,
