Mr. Wiegand isn't a wildlife biologist. He studied undergraduate level biology 40 years ago and is an antiques dealer in Northern California (no where near whooping cranes of any type). He has never worked with whooping cranes. The devoted professionals, academics and organizations that do work with whooping cranes all completely disagree with Mr. Wiegand. There is no evidence that any whooping crane has even been harmed by a wind farm. Not one. Mr. Wiegand is making it all up. http://www.quora.com/Wind-Power/Are-wind-farms-killing-endangered-whooping-cranes
