my wife and I vacationed last June in UK and France. this was after the muslim arrondissement riots, fires, destruction earlier. we loved the tourist samplings of Paris, Rouen, Giverny, and Le Havre, but it was clear in the locals' conversations that traditional France was no more. immigration laxity and taxes were cited as the immediately visible sources of destruction. it's a cycle. as in the first WW, then the second, then Viet Nam, now with socialism taking hold. perhaps it will return.
