I agree that way too many people don't have a job. That said, as long as the unemployment rate is under 50%, the statement that 'most people have a job' is correct. I have a job, but unemployment, or more accurately the government policies that contribute to unemployment are a significant issue for me. I will note that NO government, regardless of who is in charge, actually creates productive jobs. What they can do is either interfere with the private sector creating job, or get out of the way.
