We can debate the issue of violent rape resulting in pregnancy, but Akin has a stellar record of votes on pro-life issues. This firestorm shows the ignorance of so many people on the topic, and it shows the ignorance of Republicans for missing yet another opportunity to gain the Senate. The established "old guard" threw it away last election, and it appears they don't really want the Senate this time around. Go figure!
