I write a mostly unread newsletter, which is OK because I'm pld and need something to do any-way. In an early addition I cite a little history: the 1607 Jamestown, Virginia, colony and the 1620, Plymounth, Massachusetts colony. By common request the colonists, the governments of both settlements established a communal, or collectivistic, economic system The colonists agreed that the government, the leaders, of the two colonies should control everything. Control is key. What the colonies produced was stored in a common warehouse and dispensed in equal shares .Everyone was equal by law. The system failed in both colonies; they were faced with star-vation. Why did this logical system fail?
