In 2002, Senator Bob Torrecelli was running for re-election in New Jersey. Because of misdeeds (corruption) the democrats replaced him with Lautenburg. It was challenged as being too close to the election, but the NJ court let them do it. Torrecelli was bound to lose. Akin is bound to lose but has no regard for anyone except for himself. He needs to step down, or if he doesn't, Palin's idea of running a third party should be the plan. Right or wrong, Akin can't win. He is the nominee because the democrats voted for him and financed him. That should tell you something right there.
