This writer is spreading the same half truths about Mitt and Bain as everyone else on the right. Yes Bain Capital did not buy up companies using the equity in the company (including the pension money for the workers) for collateral . Bain Capital did not pay hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses to Mitt and the other people running Bain Capital at the time using the equity in the companies for collateral to borrow the money to pay these bonuses. Bain Capital did not then sell the companies off before the bottom fell out and the employees were left holding the bag while Mitt and his wife used the money to buy a great life for their family.
