I see no problem with both Iran and Iraq compensating the U.S. in some way for the blood and treasure left there. These, however, are not the answers. As in Viet Nam, if we are going to be in a war, go all in, not the nickle-dime bull that has gotten so many of ours lost. Nation building is dandy if you have a nation and it wants built. I don't think we have that here. Last but not by any means least, the WMDs. They exist. Everyone knows it but it's the elephant in the room no one wants to talk about. It is either in one of those two countries or passed through on the way to a safer place; is it too much to ask to keep up the heat trying to find out? Syria has made a lot of noise about theirs lately' were they Saddam's before?
