Where to begin: The Dream Act, although supported by both parties, got HUGE opposition by the electorate and was scrapped. How does one prove their entrance to the U.S. if they were illegal? What criteria would you use? That hasn't been established and needs to be before anyone is granted legal status. Conservatives are not advocating any racial preference when applying the laws of the land with respect to immigration. It's you who is doing that. We believe all laws should be applied equally across the board, with no one getting special treatment. It's you who wants to favor one race over another.
