Since imposing these unconstitutional invasive searches, TSA has not stopped a single terrorist act that could not have been detected by previously used methods. Metal detectors are quite effective, but trained beagles are the perfect supplement. On a trip home from UK, I picked up a piece of fruit at the red carpet lounge at heathrow. Standing in the customs line at Dulles, a beagle sat down next to my cart. His uniformed handler pointed to my carry on and asked if I had an apple. Amazed, I opened the shoulder bag and took out my MacBook inquiring how his dog knew it wasn't a PC. He laughed and said that importing fruit was not permitted. I am probably on some TSA - US Customs perp list as a fruit smuggler!
