While I accept that Pat Buchanan is, from his own personal experience, an authority on dismal campaigns, I find it hard to accept that Romney is running one. Reagan, after all, was significantly behind Carter at this point in the 1980 campaign, while Romney is even, or slightly ahead of Obama. Methinks that Pat is either experiencing the sourness of the grapes, or (more likely for a man who thinks the Mexican War was just while World War II was not), simply delusional.
