What a knucklehead. What exactly does he think is going to happen when rationing starts? Or when IPAB starts cutting treatment options for physicians because they cost too much? Or decrees that certain treatments will no longer be paid for for seniors because of the cost/benefit ratio? Or when physicians leave the profession in droves and there is a huge shortage of physicians? Or, as is ALREADY HAPPENING, physicians refuse to take more Medicare patients because the reimbursements are below cost? It won't matter if your "pre-existing condition" is covered if no physician will see you or the care you want/need isn't covered because IPAB has decreed it's too expensive. Don't laugh. It's happens all the time in Britain.
