I take it back--the governor of Montana was a Republican before he was a Democrat and he's an honest man. I've met him, interviewed him and he never showed me a car salesman's face. My best friend grew up with him He chose for his two terms a Republican as his lieutenant governor because he really believed in bi-partisanship, unlike most politicians who merely mouth the term.
When you look at his eight years of governing, Brian Schweitzer could be better labeled an Independent, free of ideologies. He's only done what he truly believes is best for Montana. Too bad there isn't another Dem out there on the national scene that comes close to doing what's best for America.
