The biggest problem here is that word, "interpret." Where in our constitution is any element of the federal government (including the supreme court) authorized to "interpret" the constitution? Wasn't the document written to define and limit the federal government? That's what I was taught in history, more than 50 years ago, and that's precisely what the Federalist Papers say it was designed to do. The Supreme Court is supposed to read, understand and interpret "LAW" (not the constitution) in accordance with what it says. Endit...
