I don't object to gay civil marriage. I'm not religious, so I'm not worried about "God's judgment on America," and the secular arguments as to why same-sex marriage will harm America seem pretty weak to me. I voted against an anti-gay-marriage amendment in my state once, and if the issue gets on the ballot again, I'll vote in favor of allowing same-sex marriage.
However, I also plan to stop by my local Chick-fil-A when I get the chance and sample their food. I don't like the bullying tactics of the gay activists. I might say to the Chick-fil-A owner: "I disagree with what you say, but I'll eat a chicken dinner to defend your right to say it."
