I did better than most in my career. Did I receive help for which I should feel I owe back MORE? Here's 2 perspectives:
Yes, I stood on shoulders to reach where I did, but not everyone's shoulders equally. By this reasoning successful people contribute more so they have a disproportional debt to other successful people before them. NOT the government nor the half the population who didn't contribute.
Second, when asking someone to invest, it's customary to track shares (just like stock). When someone invests more than another, it's only expected that their SAY is in proportion to their investment. Want more contribution? Give our votes weight according to our contribution!
