I don't see any of that. I see evenly divided partisans with a middle ground of mostly uninformed folks who are less excited about Obama than they are about Romney. That middle group, which is quite large, won't be able to check a box that says "60% Romney/40% Obama." They will each have to vote one or the other. And very few people vote for the guy they like personally if the guy they don't particularly like is going to promote policies that help them.
Repeal of Obamacare may sound like "Gee, doesn't Obama suck?" but it's a policy that will have concrete benefits for people. I think this columnist had to make a deadline so he engaged the computer before engaging his gray matter. Will it be close? Maybe. Because we are closely divided.
