I can sympathize with this article! I am an avid reader and even more avid book buyer. Back in high school, I discovered the magical world of used book stores, and suddenly books were within my financial means. At 36, I still love used book stores.
I have a 1-bedroom house, and the biggest problem with it is housing my books. I'm currently considering my carpentry skills: can I create some floor-to-ceiling bookshelves to take advantage of that wasted wall space?
By the way, in response to a few comments, I do like my Kindle. It's awesome for traveling and reading fiction. But, for books I love and want to reread, nothing replaces the real thing, and the Kindle is not good for much nonfiction.
