One point to clarify on how the message arguments were written for the NPR poll. Resurgent Republic/Whit Ayres wrote the Republican answers, and Stan Greenberg/Democracy Corps wrote the Democratic answers. Resurgent Republic was not involved with the Democratic messages, just as they did not edit our language. With that in mind, the point the story makes about the Democratic message is spot on! It's a sign of ObamaCare's weakness that the hypothetical Democratic language fails to garner majority support among all voters, and the only argument that succeeds in doing so promises to change the law and then stop talking about it. That's not a message defending the law, but rather blatant abandonment! Full results at www.resurgentrepublic.com
