I really got a chuckle out of Obama using the example of government schools as an example of "help" that businesses receive, making them successful.
Having lived most of my life in Western Pennsylvania, around Pittsburgh, I remember vividly the time when the steel industry collapsed a generation ago. The leaders of many local school districts were in absolute (justifiable) panic because the steel mills had paid so large a share of the education costs that local property owners couldn't possibly absorb them. It has taken a generation for the region to adjust. Some areas never have recovered, even with State and Federal funding available.
Nice try Mr. Obama, but taxpayers provide the "help" you speak of.
