Part 2 or 2 history and science, literature and history, and so on. For a semester, we learned Latin which gave them a better understanding of English. My children had an enriched education beyond what the traditional classroom offered. Sadly, the longer the charter has existed, the more the tentacles of the traditional system has reached in to kill the creativity of the charter. We recently walked away from the charter. Because I still hold my two teaching credentials, I am going to homeschool my middle child on my own. Ironically, we are sending our youngest to a new public school. He is enrolled in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Academy. STEM will provide him the accelerated academic program he needs.
