Because YOU wouldn't whine and cry if the temperature in the sweatshop were above 68 degrees, you were paid 8 cents an item and had to meet daily quotas under threat of termination while using non-ergonomically designed equipment 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, with no sick time, vacation, health insurance, family medical leave, or recourse against adverse work conditions or managerial harassment. Btw, the 12-year old working next to you is twice as fast as you and eats less so his break is shorter. Yah, unions suck.
