There is one question that I haven't been able to find an answer to or anyone who has a clue about the implementation. I do not have health insurance and have not for 12 years. The cheapest I've found due to several preexisting conditions, would run me $21,600 annually for just me. I've even been refused life insurance. I left the U.S. 6 years ago for a country with better medical care and much cheaper prices. Living outside the U.S., means that I have to pay tax in my country of residence as well as to the IRS for breathing the atmosphere on Earth while American. Now I could buy a private U.S. approved policy cheaply, but it wouldn't do any good in the country where I now live. Is the IRS going to try to hit me w/penalty tax?
