4th . . . 32 of the 33 developed nations have universal health care, with the US being the 1 exception. It's a matter of priority.
Last I checked Canada who's economy is closest to the American is doing just fine. In fact they breezed through the current recession vertually unscathed thanks to a better banking regulatory system . . . Oops, sounds like socialism.
In my opion, left wing and right wing are extremes, both bad. If the GOP moves too far to the right, I jump ship and vote Dems. Meanwhile, if the Dems move too far to the left I (and many) jump ship and vote GOP. I guess you could say the real power is in us. In case you haven't figured it out, I am a Christian who hates party politic extremes. "Moderation in all things."
