Tacitus, I couldn't have said it any better! It never ceases to amaze me how these affluent African-Americans (God I really hate these hyphenated nomenclatures, but I digress) who through God-given talent, hard work and maybe a little luck, have enjoyed the benefits of living in a culture and economic system that affords them unlimited opportunity to succeed. If I were black, I'd be on my knees every morning thanking God that my ancestors were brought here in chains and endured the misery of slavery. But for them, I would be living in that "mud hut in Africa and eating donkey dung for breakfast."
I hope I didn't offend anyone by using God's name. If I did, tough donkey dung!
